He didn't like her much, but Sheba had lived alone with the Pokémon anyway. Bronzy was about to fall asleep in Sheba's arms. This caused him to stop floating entirely. Sheba gasped when he suddenly grew even more heavy. She couldn't hold on to him like that. Carefully she put him onto the grass. Bronzy slept on and so, Sheba decided to take a nap as well. They needed to dry anyway. It was hard to sleep with the loud waterfall, though. Sheba only managed to doze off for a few minutes.

Then she enjoyed the sight of the waterfall some more. There even was a rainbow! She woke Bronzy up to show it to him. Bronzy was feeling better now as well. They watched the rainbow for a few minutes before moving on. They now came into a small forest. A lot of the path was blocked by trees. Maybe a storm had knocked them down. Bronzy used Confusion again. The trees were broken just like the rocks before.

Bronzy felt already stronger. He was mastering that attack quite well. It was his best one, too. Well, he also had Earthquake. But that was difficult to train. He didn't want to accidently hurt Sheba. Especially in a forest, this would be dangerous. They didn't even know if such big attacks were allowed. Maybe someone would get accidently hurt. Then again, no one seemed to be here.

Bronzy couldn't sense anyone either. Probably because this area was still quite new. They hadn't heard of it until a few days ago. Bronzy was proud that he had been the one Sheba had picked. All the others had wanted, too. But apparently, he was important for strategy. That made him happy. He wanted to be useful for Sheba. After all, she had cared for him so well for so long. He did his best to clear the path of all trees and branches.

It was quite exhausting, though. Luckily, the forest didn't seem so big. However, there were also Pokémon living here. When Bronzy got rid of a tree, a Fearow appeared. It seemed quite angry. Sheba and Bronzy were reminded of Feary. However, this one didn't want to talk. It started attacking them. Maybe they had disturbed it. It certainly wasn't scared of them.

Bronzy had no problems since he was made of metal. Sheba, however, got some nasty scratches. Bronzy wanted to protect his trainer and attacked the Fearow. He was a bit slow, though. All the tree-moving had made him exhausted, too. He couldn't fight off the Fearow all that quickly. In the end, Sheba had quite a few bleeding wounds. The beak of the Pokémon had been sharp. "It's not that bad", she said. She sat down on a fallen tree.

"I'll be fine. Thank you for protecting me." The Fearow had flown off. Hopefully it wouldn't get back all that soon. Sheba needed a rest. Luckily, she wasn't that badly hurt. Bronzy waited with her for a few minutes. Then they went to find some more water so Sheba could clean herself. There was a small stream running through the forest. Sheba washed the blood away.

"It's okay. It doesn't even hurt anymore." Sheba wished she would have more clothes with her. She now needed new ones. Her sleeves were all torn. Bronzy didn't know much about clothes. He found them rather strange, actually. He couldn't really understand why humans were wearing them. Well, some Pokémon like Maevia looked like they had clothes, too. These were all body parts, though.

Maybe humans wanted to look like Pokémon? It was all pretty weird to him. At least Sheba didn't seem that sad. "I'm proud of you, Bronzy", she said. Bronzy chimed happily. She was proud even though she had gotten hurt. He promised himself to protect her even better next time. Well, hopefully that time was far away. He didn't want her to be attacked, after all. He didn't like fighting all that much.

When Sheba was clean again they continued on their journey. The forest was still not ending. By now, it had gotten cloudy. Hopefully, it wouldn't rain. However, the trees would probably provide a bit of protection. Bronzy was glad to be in the forest now. He had just gotten dry, after all. He really didn't want to be wet again. But then they both heard thunder in the distance. "Oh no."

Sheba sighed. "We have to get out of here. It's dangerous in a thunderstorm to be in a forest." "But we'll get wet again", Bronzy said. "Well, it can't be helped." Sheba started to walk faster. Bronzy had a bit of trouble to keep up. Then the first drops of rain fell down. Sheba hurried up some more. She didn't want to be here when the lightning hit. She thought about calling Bronzy back into the Pokéball to be faster.

Bronzy was really giving his all, though, so she kept him outside. She didn't want to make him think he was in the way. After all, she loved him. Besides that, the trees were thinning out now. The thunder had really gotten loud already. The rain was falling down harder, too. They were already wet again even though they were under the trees still. However, the edge of the forest came into sight. The sky was really dark now. Sheba didn't really want to step out of it.

However, it was too dangerous under the trees. Bronzy looked around when he arrived next to her. There were dark shapes in the distance. Maybe small mountains or something like that. He couldn't really make it out, though. The ground seemed to be full of rocks, too . They had seemingly arrived at a new area. These training grounds were really huge. There was really an area for every Pokémon. It was quite impressive.

"Shall we go there?" Sheba asked. Maybe the mountains could provide shelter. "Maybe there are caves or something." "Good idea", Bronzy chimed. Together, they ran out into the rain. They were drenched again in seconds. Lightning flashed through the sky. Both Bronzy and Sheba were rather scared. They wanted to reach the dark shapes as quickly as possible. When they came nearer, they saw they were indeed small mountains.

Reaching them provided at least shelter from one direction. Both walked along the rocks. Sheba covered her ears when the thunder came. Bronzy was sad that he couldn't do anything. He tried creating a force field against the rain. That was rather hard to do, though. He gave up after a few tries. It caused him to lag behind even more. He started to catch up to Sheba as fast as possible. She waited for him, too.
