The Pokemorph had already been on the island for days, accompanied primarily by the Blaziken that had been one of her first Pokemon, and one of her dearest, dearest companions. They were on a fairly important journey, having volunteered to come and catalog the Pokemon native to the island, but her work was far from complete. Currently, she was navigating the forest toward the sound of running water. She was hoping to locate another river, hoping that Pokemon had gathered near it. If they had, it would make things easier on her today. "Blaze, have you spotted anything?" She shouted up into the trees, her nine tails each flicking as she awaited an answer. "You were right," a voice returned shortly afterward. "There is a river dead ahead!" There was a rustling in the trees, followed by a Blaziken suddenly landing next to her. It caused a loud thud and he flinched slightly. " Sorry," he apologized, but went on to say, "I couldn't see any Pokemon, but you and I both know that they are there." It was a fact that there were Pokemon all around them, they just weren't having any luck finding them. "Thank you, Blaze," Taya said, nodding to the Pokemon and smiling. "We may have some luck here."

Otom wasn't watching where he was going. Again. Really, that was going to get him in trouble one day. Today, that meant he ran right into the legs of a Blaziken. What were the chances, right? He bounced off the Blaziken and landed in a little ball of fluff. He looked up at the Blaziken and chirped. Hello!Lunasa wasn't far behind her little friend. Really, she wasn't tiny so why did Otom have to run through the bushes. They got caught on her clothes and fur. Really, it wasn't so bad, but it was annoying when you're trying to keep up with a tiny ball of feathers. When she finally caught up with him, she stopped cold. Wasn't expecting to see a Blaziken and their Trainer out here.

Blaze looked down when he felt something run smack dab into his leg. Had he a proper mouth and not a beak, he would have smiled at the sight of the Torchic. It was delightful to see a Pokemon of his species family, since he hadn't in such a long time. "Hello," he greeted it in return, sounding very wise and powerful, but still kind. Taya often said that Blaze reminded her of a knight or, at least, the way knights were supposed to be in fairytales.
Taya had turned around when she realized they had company, smiling quite brightly at the sight of a Torchic. "Hello there, little one," she said, her voice very soft. She suddenly took in a depth breath, but it wasn't clear why. Was she worried about something?
Both the Blaziken and his Pokemorph Trainer looked to Lunasa when she showed herself. Blaze vaguely wondered why she had stopped so suddenly. Was she surprised to see them out here? While Taya held questions, too, she was the one to speak. "Hello. I didn't quite expect to see another trainer out here. My name is Taya. This is my friend, Blaze." She gestured toward the Blaziken as she introduced him.

Otom scrambled to his feet, shaking the dust from his feathers. He darted over to Lunasa. Didja ya meet my new friends? He bounced on his toes excitedly. He did so love meeting new people. He dashed back towards the other two. My name is Otom and this is Lunasa!"
Lunasa smiled, her tail twitching. "Indeed. And I see Otom has taken care of the intorductions." She ruffled the Torchic's crest affectionately. He chirped happily, leaning into her hand. "A pleasure to meet you."

"It is a pleasure to meet you, as well," both Taya and Blaze spoke at the very same time, which caused them both to look at one another in surprise. Blaze chuckled a bit, while Taya's laugh was a little more feminine.
"I'm sorry," she said after she managed to stop laughing, looking at Lunasa and Otom. "Blaze and I have been together for a very long time. We almost seem to know each others thoughts at times." Blaze nodded in agreement. "Of course, things have changed since then. I can't carry him around in my arms anymore." At this statement, the Blaziken patted her shoulder gently. "And I am now strong enough to carry you, when I so choose," he retorted. Taya simply smiled.
"We are surveying the Pokemon that live here, would you care to join us?" the Pokemorph offered, her nine tails all flicking about behind her. It actually surprised her to see another Pokemorph, but she decided against mentioning it.

When the other Pokemorph mentioned not being to hold her partener anymore, Lunasa scooped Otom up. He clucked in suprise, struggling slightly. Lunaaaaa! He struggled playfully against her arms before settling down. "Hey, let me have my moment." Lunasa teased.
"And we would love to join you." This seemed like a great time to start exploring this new place

Taya began to laugh as she watched the other trainer and her Torchic interact. It was not only amusing to watch, but it reminded her of when she and Blaze first met. It made her feel very warm inside.
Just then, the Blaziken's attention was taken somewhere else. He turned away from the group and headed in the direction that he and Taya were originally going, surprisingly light on his feet for such a large Pokemon. The multi-morph's ears twitched as he began to move. "Oh, there is a Pokemon just ahead of us," she realized. "Come on, Lunasa." She turned around to follow after her Pokemon.

Lunasa grinned. "Lead the way." She set Otom back on the ground. It would be better that way if they encountered anybody else. Didn't want to be caught unprotected after all. Though that Blaziken would probably help stop that from happening.
Otom chirped happily. As much as he loved Lunasa, he liked walking on his own. He took a moment to fluff his feathers up, trying to get back into some sembelance of decency. He hated how his feathers got squished when he was held(even if he did love getting held). But he soon darted after Blaze, wanting to see what he had heard

Just ahead of them, in a break through the trees, they had found the stream that they must have heard. Playing at the edge of the bank was a strangely colored Growlithe with two fairly young looking Vulpix. The puppy Pokemon would hop toward the fox Pokemon, growling playfully, while the two fox Pokemon would jump away from it. One of the little Vulpix even jumped on the Growlithe, followed shortly by its sibling, knocking the older Pokemon to the ground. The three burst into laughter. Taya watched them for a just a moment before presenting herself, cooing to them softly, "Hello there..." She crouched down, holding out her hand to them. The Vulpix both jumped behind the Growlithe, which lept to its feet to protect them when the Pokemorph showed up. It sniffed at her from afar, realizing then that there was at least two other Pokemon and another Pokemorph near them. "We have no intention of hurting you," spoke the Blaziken then, standing farther away from the small group than Taya. The Growlithe crept closer, sniffing at Taya's hand, allowing her to pet it once it decided that she was safe. "It is alright..." it declared, flicking its tail. Just than, the Vulpix jumped to their feet, one of them running up to Otom to sniff at him, while the other one, its sister, stay just behind him, looking at Lunasa curiously. "W-who are you?" she dared to ask, her little tails wiggling.

Lunasa smiled and crouched down to the Vulpix's level. "I'm Lunasa. A pleasure to meet you." She settled down on the grass and crossed her legs. "Do you have a name?" She spoke softly, not wanting to scare the Vulpix away.
Otom cocked his head to one side when the other Vulpix cam up to him. He had never seen another Pokemon like this before. Hi![/color] He moved closer to the Vulpix. My name is Otom! What's yours?

"Lunasa?" The young female Vulpix repeated, tilting her head to the side curiously. She giggled softly, her tails wiggling. "It is nice to meet you! But... I don't have a... real name. My mother and my brother call me Missy, though."
"My sister calls me... Mister Foxy..." The brother of the two Vulpix said, sounding quite displeased with it. "Otherwise, I don't really... have a name. My mother calls me Dear, but I'd rather not be that, either." He shook his head. "Otom is a nice name, though. You're a... Torchic, right?" He asked, staring at the chick Pokemon. "I mean, you look different than the others, but you have to be one, right?"
Taya had taken to scratching the Growlithe behind the ears. "You're one of those that escaped from Professor Riddle's lab, aren't you?" She asked, looking at the creature's odd coloring. The puppy Pokemon nodded. "That I am. I came to the island in hopes that they wouldn't find me again. I'd rather have a trainer or live a life in the wild, here. The other Pokemon welcomed me here."
The Pokemorph found this news to be quite interesting, since she had heard that it was rare for Pokemon from outside of the island to reach the area.
"Is everything alright there, at the lab?" Blaze asked, looking at the Growlithe. "I mean, nothing bad is happening, is there?" He added to clarify is question. "Blaze!" Taya looked at him with a frown. "The Professor there is a kind man, you know that." But her companion still shook his head. "He still seems strange to me, anyways."
The puppy Pokemon could only shake his head, "No, nothing is going on. It just gets boring having to stay there."

Lunasa smiled, tentatively stroking the Vulpix's head. "I think it's a cute name." She hadn't expected to run into wild Pokemon this friendly. Must be because people could talk to them here. It's rather hard to fight with someone if they can talk to you. "So, what're you doing out here? Seems like it might be dangerous for young Pokemon like you."
Otom tilted his head to one side. No name? Well, I'll call you Todd. He puffed his chest out at Todd's comment. Of course I am! Only the very best Torchic ever! Even my feathers are the best! To emphasize his point, he fluttered his wings.

The female Vulpix got an excited expression when Lunasa complimented her name, her tails wiggling faster than usual. "Our parents live here, too. Normally, they don't let Mister Foxy and I out of their sights, but they don't mind if we go out with the Growlithe. He's promised to protect us," the little one explained. "What about you? What are you doing here?"
"Todd..." the Vulpix speaking with Otom repeated, testing it out. "Alright, I guess that will work." As he said this, he wore a smile. Seeing the Torchic flap his wings, the fox Pokemon seemed amused. "Hey, do you know any fire attacks yet?" It asked suddenly, obviously enjoying the conversation it was having with another Pokemon that it had yet to meet up until this point.
"Taya, I'm going to scout the area. If you need anything," Blaze began, but his trainer cut him off, "I will call for you if I can, but I do have Alucard with me," she reminded him gently. Her Blaziken was certainly a protective one. Blaze nodded his head in understanding and headed off up the river.
It was then that Taya rose to her feet, gesturing for the Growlithe to follow her. She came to sit down next to Lunasa, greeting her with a quiet, "Hey." The Growlithe, rather than becoming a conversationalist, sat down to observe both of the Vulpix. It has his job to take of them while the three of them were out. That being said, he knew that the brother and sister would have to return to their parents, even if they grew attached to the trainers here.

Lunasa smiled. "I'm exploring. I just got to this place and wanted to find out more about it. It looks so facsinating." She scratched behind Missy behind the ears. "And I get to meet nice people like you, of course."
Otom thought about his question. Not yet! But soon I'll be strong enough and I'll be amazing at them too!

"Huh?" Looking to her right, Squirt saw the outlines of some trainers and their partners, along with some others, probably wild Poke'mon. "Hmmm..." she thought to herself. Finally, she decided to let Sleet decide what they should do. Nudging her until the Poke'morph almost rolled over on her, Squirt said, "Hey, there's some people over there. Can we go say hi?" Laughing, Sleet went over behind one of the thick bushes. She couldn't see them that well, but there was a group there for sure. Nodding to Squirtle, they both emerged from their hiding places. (Said open to one other, so I hope I'm not intruding...)
