Every Pokemon has the same stat categories: Level, HP, Attack, Sp. Attack, Defense, Sp. Defense, and Speed.
Level represents the amount of training a Pokemon has undergone.
HP represents the health points a Pokemon has, becoming knocked out and unable to battle when their HP reaches zero.
Attack determines the physical attack power of a Pokemon.
Sp. Attack determines special [magical] attack power of a Pokemon.
Defense determines a Pokemon's resistance toward physical attacks.
Sp. Defense determines a Pokemon's resistance toward special [magic] attacks.
Speed determines the agility of a Pokemon.
All stats, save for HP, max out at 100. HP maxes out at 400. [Excluding the use of stat-enhancing items after stat is maxed out.]
Each Pokemon may level up when they successfully win a battle. If the loosing Pokemon is the same level or greater in level compared to the winner, there is a 100% chance of leveling up. If the loosing Pokemon is 1-5 levels lower than the winner, there is only a 50% chance of leveling up. If the loosing Pokemon is 6-10 levels lower than the winner, there is only a 30% chance of leveling up. If the loosing Pokemon is 11-15 levels lower than the winner, there is only a 15% chance of leveling up. If the loosing Pokemon is 16+ levels lower than the winner, there is a 0% chance of leveling up.
If you switch out a Pokemon in battle, the percentage of leveling up for each Pokemon will be divided by the number of non-fainted Pokemon that faced the opponent.
If a Pokemon faints in battle, it gains no experience, thus, it doesn't have any chance to level up for that battle.
As a Pokemon levels up, a notification with updated stats of that Pokemon will be sent to you in a PM from Taya, including any newly acquired attacks.
Each Pokemon may know up to five attacks. If the Pokemon already has five attacks and you wish to have your Pokemon know another, that Pokemon must forget one of the five attacks it already knows.
