Even though it is possibly one of the newest regions in existence, it is said that the Trilotics region is greatly influenced by the legendary Pokemon and the pure magic of the world. Scientists have estimated that the region is no more than a hundred years old and doesn't show signs that it was inhabited by humans the entire time. This is something that seems to be a nearly impossible feat for the level of technology that humans have already incorporated into the region.
What is completely unexplained, even by the scientists, is that everything appears in Trilotics at random, including Pokemon, humans and even beings from entirely different worlds all together. Everyone and everything is ripped up from its original place and brought to the region with little warning nor a choice in the matter. Trilotics' inhabitants have simply come to justify these strange ways as destiny, it being a person's fate to come to the region.
Another puzzling matter is that not a single soul, human or Pokemon alike, as ever heard of Trilotics prior to arriving in and, inevitably, becoming stuck in the region. It is suspected that the region is completely undetected by the outside world, as if it was kept inside a protective bubble. Most of the waters and sky surrounding the outer areas of the region are unable to be traversed due to violent waves and winds, so there is no known means of leaving the region once brought into it.
Some humans that have appeared in recent times have claimed to have received letters seven says prior to their arrival which simply told them, "Say goodbye." Then, on the seventh day, they were forcefully teleporated into the region, usually passing out before or during the process, to awake at the shrines in the Mystic Forest.
Most awake to the sounds of the forest, along with many, many voices. Unbeknownst to the humans, upon appearing within Trilotics, they are infused with the spirit of a Pokemon. This, at least, would explain why everyone can understand Pokemon, as if they spoke plain human. In some rare occurrences, it is even said that some humans may accidentally be transformed into Pokemon.
