Hm... Should I really ask this of them? Sleet thought to herself as she began her journey up to the shrine. She passed another girl on her way up, but payed no attention to her. She was to lost in her thoughts and worries to really notice anything right now. And that was only proved by the fact that behind her there was a fairy Spinda trailing her. But of course, the young Pokemorph simply continued onward, and knelt down in front of the statue of Articuno.
"Oh mighty Articuno, you rule over all the snowy domains. I ask of you a favor, to aid me on my journey. An ice Pokemon, one of grace and power. Please, I have but three on my team at the time, and need all the help I can get..." A single tear slid down her face, but fell the ground with silence. It pained her to think about Glaceon, but for some reason, she didn't think she'd ever see the feline again...

A prayer that was, for once, directed at a single Legendary Pokemon. At first, and for a short time, there was no reply at all. Then, the air grew much colder. Tiny snowflakes began to fall from the sky, seemingly out of nothing. When touched, they were only slight cold, not enough to freeze the Pokemorph out. Was it that Articuno was preparing to speak? "I shall grant your wish, on the condition that you raise it well. I have the perfect thing for you, a Dewgong, who had once been forced to evolve before its time. It shall be of great help to you, if you allow it, but it may take time to have faith in you," the voice sounded off from nowhere, but very clear and defined. Shortly after it stopped speaking, a flurry of snow picked up a few feet from where sleet stood. It spun round and round, growing larger and larger. it impossible to see what might have been hiding inside, but, suddenly, the snow stopped, falling to the ground instantly. On a bed of snow, there rested Dewgong that had curled up. There was a Luxury Ball held between its flippers. The Pokemon appeared to be asleep. "Remember, take good care of it," the voice reminded her.

Sleets hair was whipped back as the gusts of the wind grew stronger, but she stayed up right, not flinching as snow hit her face and bare arms. When it finally died down, she gasped, and a smile began to grow on her lips. A young Dewgong, sleeping on a small bed of snow.
"My thanks, Lord Articuno. I will raise him well, rest assured." Picking up the Pokeball and putting it into her knapsack, she lifted the Pokemon up, just barely struggling under its wait. It didn't seem like it was very old, since most Dewgongs were almost half the size of humans, or bigger. And this one was just small enough to be held somewhat comfortably in Sleet's arms.
"Poor thing... You're safe with me, I swear on my life." she whispered, and headed out the shrine and back to her team.
(God, I'm so sorry about the late reply.... And thank you so much Articuno. ^^ -winkwink-
