(This is not really a real wish, seeing as it wouldn't get granted anyway. o3o) Sofia made her way up to the shrine. Was this the place Kage had been talking about? Where people talked to these gods of theirs and asked for things? Well, then Sofia had finally come to the right place! She looked around, but no one else was in sight. Then again, gods probably weren't just sitting around all day anyway. She just hoped they would hear her. She contemplated how to start. Sofia had no idea if they had worked together to kidnap her or if it had been just one of them. She didn't even know how many were there in total. This made things rather complicated. Nevertheless, she was angry - and desperate - enough to try anyway. " Okay, my name is Sofia Viviage, from the kingdom of Norad, town of Sharance! I demand to talk to whoever abducted me from home!" she said loudly. " This is an absolute outrage! I have a family at home - a father who raised me and my sister alone - and my sister, who looked after me all her life! I demand to know who is so cruel to bring them and me such sorrow and abduct me to a world I'm not from, forcing me to stay here! And not just me, but obviously others, too! I did not ask for this, I do not want it and I demand to be brought home again! This is absolutely not acceptable! This is criminal! You can't just rip people out of their happy lives, not even caring about their feelings, hopes and dreams! I understand fully well that there are people who actually appreciate you doing this and I suppose it's at least halfway acceptable then, but doing this to someone who doesn't wish to just suddenly lose all that is important to them is absolutely horrible and cruel! How dare you to interfere with people as you please?! If you mess around with your world, please, go ahead, but just...stealing people from other worlds?! How rude! It's probably because no one wants to live here, huh?! Maybe you should consider being nicer to people then instead of abducting them! Maybe someone would then live here willingly! But you know, I don't even care about that! I just want to go home and I want to go home now!" Sofia panted and felt her throat ache from all her shouting and screaming. A lady normally didn't shout, but these gods clearly deserved nothing else! Someone had to tell them! Sofia looked around, saw a rock of decent size and sat down on it, waiting if something would actually happen now.

"I'm sorry that you feel that way," a masculine voice rang out, sounding as if it wasn't all that far from Sofia at all. However, upon inspection, she wouldn't find another single living being around her. Something had heard all of her screaming and shouting, that was for sure. At least, whatever it was, it actually didn't seem annoyed with her.
The voice didn't speak again for a long moment and, when it did, it grew even closer. "So you're Sofia? I've heard all about you. My, you did find our shrine fast. I'm very impressed." Oddly enough, it actually did sound impressed with the girl. Just which of the Legendary Pokemon was speaking with her now? With so many of them, it could have been anyone's guess, but it definitely seemed to be a male and of decent stature.

Sofia sat up straight right away when she suddenly heard a voice. But there was no one to be seen. This was...slightly scary. And creepy, especially since that voice seemed to come closer.
"Y-yes, I'm Sofia." She took a deep breath. Whoever this was, it was obviously not the one who had taken her. Maybe someone of similiar power? "I was left alone in the forest, but someone had told me about your shrine, so it was obvious I had to fine it. Because obviously, if I want to return home, I need to find the one who took me away in the first place or at least someone else who has that power. So here I am."

"I see," the voice responded, sounding as if it was thinking over her words quite carefully. "I'm afraid that there are not many of us that have the very specific power to travel between worlds. There are a good few, but not nearly as many of us that are unable to. I'm afraid I know not who it was that brought you here, but I'm sure they had their reasons. Everyone we bring here, they are here to fulfill a specific purpose. In the case for some, it is to continue their adventures, while in others, it is to have a place where they belong, without judgment. In your specific case, I'm afraid, I cannot tell you someone else's reasoning. I can assure you, however, that, somehow, it seems that this was meant for you. I do a apologize, however, on their behalf, with the inconvenience this has caused you." Its apology, at least, sounded completely sincere.

Sofia took that in and nodded. So all that talk about "opening her eyes" that Maevia and Kage had given her had been nothing but nonsense. Of course. They were just commoners, after all. And at least the godly being she was talking to sounded concerned enough and gave her some clues. "I already have a place I belong to - my home. And I wish to return there. Are you saying that if I fulfill the purpose I have brought here for, I may return to my home? What if I fail? Will I be stuck here forever then, too? Or will it result in me getting brought back home, too?" Maybe this was like a game, after all, after which she could leave again, no matter the result. "Can you...can you travel between worlds? I really want to go back home..." She sniffed. It was worth a try. Then again, since she hadn't fulfilled whatever she had been brought here for, she probably wouldn't be able to, so... "Or, if that is not possible...is there a way I can send a letter to my father and sister? To let them know I am fine? They surely must be searching for me by now. If I am stuck here for long, they will think me dead. I want to save them at least that grief. It...it is enough...when I am scared and crying...so I would write them I'm fine and happy...and that they shouldn't worry..." Sofia had by now lost her battle against her tears again. Why was all of this happening to her? "Is there a way...to figure out who did this to me? So I...can ask him or her to bring me back? I'm sure...this has to be a mistake. I was...so happy..."

"I'm afraid that it is very rare that anyone would ever be sent back." While the news was grim, someone had to deliver it and, seeing as this legendary was currently the only one here, so to speak, it was his responsibility. However, he was sure that his words wouldn't put her at ease. "We are all, how do you say, strong believers in fate. I cannot say why you are here, because it was not I who brought you, nor do I know who did. They have their reasons, and it may not even be something you like. It is hard to say." Just how did the Legendary Pokemon choose who to bring and who wasn't worthy? Well, that was a task that not a single one of the was about to reveal. In some cases, however, it could have been considered much like a prophecy. "Some are brought here so that their views on the world are expanded. Perhaps that is the case with you? Or, perhaps, you have some grand fate that I know not about." The voice was going to continue speaking, only the young woman's tears silenced it. Suddenly, something came into view. The Legendary Pokemon showed itself, hovering only a few feet from where Sofia sat. "Please, do not cry," it said, its voice growing gentle. "It is a shame to see a pretty girl cry." "You know," it started after a brief pause. "I knew that you were coming because of a young man. He came here and he told me that we should probably be expecting you. And he asked something of me... If you were to visit, I was to make sure to give you a gift that he intended for you, which was his way of apologizing. I believe he wants you to forgive him, if you will. Just as suddenly as the Legendary Pokemon appeared, so did another, even though this one appeared to be sleeping, resting on the ground. To Sofia, the Pokemon would much resemble a small, yet elegant white horse. Only, in this case, the horse's mane and tail were made of brilliant red flames rather than hair. "He said it was often referred to as a Regal Ponyta and that he thought it would suit you well," the equally unique appearing Latios explained. "It is unique, currently the only one of its kind."

"W-well...'very rare' is not the same as 'never', though..." The news were grim and made Sofia cry even harder, but they also made her more determined that she would be one of these 'very rare' cases. She shook her head. "My fate? And there is is again, this 'expand my view' talk. I already heard that from two others! Why me? There are so many others of my kind and status where I come from. Why not my sister or my father? What makes me so different? A 'grand fate'...? What is this even supposed to be? I was born a noble and hold some influence, yes. Is that not more grand than being tossed into a world I know nothing about, with nothing but my clothes on?"
Sofia continued to weep, but the sudden appearance of the legendary Pokémon surprised her totally and at least stopped most of her tears. She had had no idea what a god would look like, but this was beyond what she had ever imagined. "You are kind... thank you." Sofia hadn't thought that she would find kindness here, with these gods who had brought her here. Then again, maybe the other gods were different? She was glad to have met this one, though.
"A young man?" Sofia paused. She had met no one else but Kage here so far. Hadn't he been on his way, though? Then again, he had been the one who hald told her of the shrine in the first place. "Kage...wants me to forgive him?" That suprised her, but pleasantly, but even more so the gift he had left for her. "It's beautiful!" She had had her own horses before at home, but none with flames for mane and tail. And it was supposed to be unique? How did Kage find a Pokémon like that - and then he was just...giving it to her? "That is so kind of him...I will have to give him my sincere thanks! Maybe we will run into each other in the town he was going to, if he hasn't returned to that laboratory."

The Latios shook his head, having a difficult time explaining any further. In not knowing the judgment of another Legendary, there wasn't all that much he could say on the subject of why Sofia was chosen and why not someone else. All he could say was, "Somehow, I'm assuming that it had to be you. If everyone is brought here for a reason, then it can be said that you are the only person that fits to your unspoken reason."
"Perhaps you will run into him again. I believe that he did intend to continue on to the town," the Pokemon commented. "Maybe he said so, so that I could tell you." It seemed that the Latios had spoken with the young man, himself, and he could tell that he had been worried about this young woman who had found herself so very lost. "But your journey should be much easier with a companion, or so the other trainer hopes. I believe he made his decision on what he thought would be best suitable for you."
"Oh." It was then that the legendary remembered something. Just as he appeared and the Ponyta appeared, so did an nearly all-white Pokeball, held in what served as his hand. He turned then, recalling the Ponyta, it being absorbed into the ball with a flash of red light. "And here you are," he spoke, hovering closer to Sofia and holding out the Pokeball for her to take. "You couldn't very well walk off without the Pokeball."

Sofia nodded slowly. She kept clinging to the hope that this was all a mistake and there was an easy way out, but the more everyone - now even a god - told her it was unlikely, the more that hope dwindled. "This is so mean, though", she complained. "Putting someone into a different world and then not even telling them why. How am I supposed to know what to do now?"
"I'll look for him once I reach the town. He probably did tell you so you could tell me, because he had been on the way to the professor before he met me." That, at least, was something to hold onto. To have something to do - to find Kage and thank him. It was better than nothing.
Sofia looked at the ball. "Oh! Thank you!" She took the ball. It was white - hadn't the balls of Kage for Nyla and Vexsis been red, too? Maybe she was mistaken, though. She held the ball close. "I'll take good care of it!"

"Discovering your purpose is all apart of the adventure. It is a lot like life, in that sense. You may never know what your true calling is until you go looking for it, even when you may think you've already found it." Here the Latios somewhat smiled, apparently having applied this to his own life.
He watched carefully for her reaction once he had offered her the Pokeball and was happy that she seemed to be pleased. It was much better this way then seeing her so sad. "That is very good. I'm sure you'll do wonderfully. If you ever need anything, you can come back to the shrine, and I will try to listen. I may not always be here, though, but there are others that are willing to listen. Most of us couldn't even dream of taking you back, however, as it is outside the powers of most of us. For that, I do apologize, but I still believe you will do well here in your time that you stay."

"I was not aware that I need some purpose in life." Sofia frowned a bit. "I was happy just...living so far; happy with what I have thanks to my family. I never wanted to be more or do something special..."
"I'll...I'll come back here, then." She would, until she had found the one who had brought her here or at least someone who had the power to bring her back. She was bound to catch someone sooner or later. "Thank you for your kindness." It was nice to know that the gods were willing to listen, after all. She wondered if they would take her back if they would have the power. Then again, she figured that maybe she wouldn't like the answer to that question, so she didn't ask - at least not this time. But at least the god had said 'in the time you stay'. There was hope. Sofia was sure that coming back here would bring her home in the end.
