((OOC: If I do this wrong, just yell at me and kick me. o3o;))
"Finally! There it is!" Sheba rushed up to the shrine, happily to have finally found it, her Pokémon not far behind. "Knew it had to be here somewhere!"
Both looked at the shrine. "So, what now?" the small Chimchar finally asked after a few seconds of slience.
"I...don't really know", Sheba admitted. "Maevia said people pray here to get their wishes fulfilled by the legendary Pokémon, so I suppose we...do just that?" A bit unsure of herself, she knelt down to pray. "Uhm...what do you think we should wish for? I don't think I can just wish to go home again."
Her little friend just shrugged, however, and Sheba sighed. What did they need the most right now. A map? Well, Maevia said the town would be at the edge of the woods and so far, nothing had jumped out to eat them, so maybe they would be fine without a map. "Well...I'm most worried we get attacked by a Pokémon you have a weakness to", Sheba finally said. "So maybe we should wish for another friend who could help us? Not that I have no faith in you!", she quickly added.
"That's fine, I understand. I'd hate to fight a water Pokémon, too", the Chimchar answered. "But do you think we can wish for a specific Pokémon to appear just like that?"
"Well, I don't know? But it never hurts to try, right?" Sheba nodded and then thought about it. What Pokémon should she wish for? The legendary Pokémon would probably be more pleased if she didn't wish for some high-leveled fighting machine but rather someone she would train herself. But what Pokémon? She remembered the Pokémon she had cared for at home. "Ah, I know." She smiled and then closed her eyes.
"Dear legendary Pokémon", she prayed. "Please, watch over me and my companion on our journey and aid us in our travels. Please grant my wish, for I wish for the safety of my friend. I wish...for another Pokémon to travel with us. And if I may ask for a specific one, I hereby wish for a Bronzor. Thank you so much."
"There." She sighed. "That should do it." Sheba got up and brushed the dirt off her dress. "I suppose...we can now only hope and wait?" She looked at the sky. "Wonder if these prayers really reach the legendary Pokémon..."
