Firetra walked into the building still rubbing his head that hurt from his fall. "Hello?!?" he cried waiting in the front entrance for an awnser. He looked at all of the equipment and all the tes tube thingies. He then saw on a table those same shapes he saw outside the building except in spherical form. He went over to them to examine them.

"Excuse me," a voice suddenly sounded. "It is not very polite to wander around someone else's place without being invited." In that instant, a Gardevoir adorning a white, very clean, lab coat was coming toward the boy, arms crossed. She looked at him with a very stern gaze, before coming to say, "My name is Maevia and this is my laboratory. May I help you?" Though she seemed displeased with his wandering in her laboratory, she didn't seem angry. She actually held a very kind aura, along with one of authority.

Fireta turned around to see a creature of some sort. And for some reason it spoke to him. Shocked by this it took him a while to come up with an anwser. *gulp* " Oh sorry" he said in a shakey voice. " I didn't see anyone so I came in. And yes you can help me." he said gaining some composure. "Uhhh were am I exactly. One moment I was in a tree and the next moment. Boom! I'm in the air and hurtling down to the ground and I bump my head on the ground." He ten started rubbing his head remembering what happened.

"My goodness, you landed on your head?" Maevia asked, sounding a bit shocked. That sounded like a horrible experience, indeed. It was the first time she heard of such a thing happening to one of the new beings that came to the region. Usually, or so it seemed, most people were put to sleep some time before ending up in Trilotics and simply awoke to a strange new place.
She shook her head suddenly, batting those thoughts away in order to answer the boy's question. "You have landed yourself into the region known to its inhabitants as Trilotics. Your current location would be The Mystic Laboratory, the only building right around here, located in the Mystic Forest. My name is Maevia and I am the professor here."

"OK now I know where I am, But what am I to do here Maevia? Now that I have no job what do you people do here that can earn an honest living?" He hung his head low remembering his family that was left to morn his disappearance. Some how, he was going to tell them that he was alright.

"Everyone starts here in the same way," Maevia stated, as if this wasn't her first time having to say it. "This region isn't entirely safe, regardless of what you are, human or Pokemorph. You will need a Pokemon as a companion and you shall, first and foremost, become a trainer. After gaining experience and traveling that way, I'm sure that you'll find your calling. I'm afraid its really the only option that you have, though it is certainly not a terrible one."
"Some trainers later choose to work in shops, become co-ordinaters, become an officer in the cities, a nurse or doctor, become a breeder, there are many options. You just have to start at ground zero."

" So I'm guessing that the trainer is the kinda first day on the job type thing around here. Once you have experience in that then you can practically do anything." As he said that he looked into the room and stared at empty space. Thinking on what he would look like as an all powerful trainer. Pushing himself back into reality and wiping off the drool. He quickly asked another question.
" So... How do I get a so-called Pokemon anyway? And what do they look like, too?

"Some trainers choose to remain trainers, but it all in the calling. Most usually figure out what they want to do once they have traveled awhile and experienced everything. Don't be surprised if you find people doing all kinds of strange things, working with Pokemon." There were tons of things that Pokemon could do, quite obviously, and Maevia was a prime example of that.
"Most Pokemon are caught in the wild," she explained, finding it quite unusual that she was actually having to explain it to anyone. How did he not already know what a Pokemon was? After all, he was talking to her quite calmly... "Pokemon come in all shapes and sizes," she started, trying to find the best way to describe them as a whole, but not finding a way to do it quickly and easily. "Well, I am a Pokemon, if that helps. We're all very different creatures and we can even change appearances over time. Here at this lab, I also give out a single Pokemon to starting trainers to raise."

"Your a Pokemon?" Firetra blurted out. " I thought you were actually a person." He studied her more closely and saw she did truly look nothing like a human. "Never mind." he just said. Shaking his head and rubbing his bump ,he then started to talk again.
"If I heard you right, then you just told me that there are some types of Pokemon that you give out. If so can you show me them?"

Maevia nodded her head. "Yes, I am a Pokemon," she confirmed. A Gardevoir may have looked a lot like a human, at least compared to many other Pokemon, but she certainly wasn't a human. "I suppose it is a good thing that I look somewhat like a human," she mused.
Without saying another word, Maevia headed toward a machine at the back of the room, gesturing for the human to follow her. In an instant, all of the Pokemon that they currently had available were displayed on the machine's monitor. "You may choose any one of these Pokemon. However, I am going to need to know your name."

Walking up to the machine he was entranced and his eyes wandered to one particular Pokemon. He was snapped back when he heard the question "Oh sorry. I forgot my manners. My name is Firetra." He then gave a grin and waited.

"Right. Firetra," Maevia replied, eying the boy for just a moment. It was an unusual name but, then again, there was already a girl named Elektra that had passed by the lab. For a moment, she wondered if the two were somehow related, but she very much doubted it. They didn't seem... alike. "Well, which Pokemon interests you? We have a great deal of them, are you able to decide?"

"Uhhhh.. I think I might have found one. I really don't know its name but its the one with the fire on its back and I kind of looks like a mouse." He then took his finger and pointed at the Cyndaquil. "I don't know why, but it's just like its drawing me to it some how."

"Hm, a Cyndaquil, is it? Cyndaquil's are fire types, if you haven't noticed. All Pokemon have different types, you see." As Maevia explained this, she confirmed with the machine that said Pokemon was, indeed, the newest trainer's choice of Pokemon. The machine came to life instantly, little lights that decorated it began to flash.
As the machine did its work of dispensing a pokeball nearly out of thin air into a depression on the flat surface of the machine, Maevia had snapped up a small bag from a very large box that was situated close to the machine. She offered it to Firetra, "That Pokemon in that ball is yours, and you should also take this with you. It contains some pretty useful items, a Pokedex and Pokegear, even a blanket, and some money for you to take. Other than that, there isn't much I can offer you, aside from advice, whenever you may need it."

"Fire! thats interesting. I guess you could say I have a fiery personality. That may have been why I was drawn to it. " He then took the bag generously.
"Thank you very much. I will try to ask advise when I need it. Thank you again." He then walked out the door. Hopefully he didn't forget anything.
(Is that how I'm suppose to end it?)
