Yeah, me again Something I wondered for a few days now: How does typing effectiveness work here? It obviously doesn't work like in the games, since I figured that out the hard way when my Bronzor was fighting Glameow and took full damage from Fake Out (which totally suprised me, since I basically used Bronzy in the fight because I thought he would barely take any damage o3o. Instead, I had to use a Potion, lol. Me and my silly plans XD). So are types insignificant here? Will Ghost types take full damage from normal attacks? Seeing as there seems to be a location made for Ghost Pokémon, I thought I should ask.

Unfortunately [or fortunately], the typing and battle system here hold some strange complexities. In the case with Bronzy verses the Glameow, I had to consider it's personal character [hard-headed, strong/powerful, mischievous] and I had to consider the fact that the Glameow is a Laboratory Pokemon.
A Pokemon's character can influence battles here, as they often do in the anime. [Remember, I take influences both from the game and the anime, rather than just the game. If it went just by game rules, then where is all the fun in making characters for Pokemon?]
What most may know about Laboratory Pokemon, is that they may have other types and factors influencing them. An easy example of this would be the Sentret that Thunder's trainer, Rizen, received in the Advent Event. The Sentret's code name is "Snowflake Sentret" and bares a snowflake marking. Said Sentret knows Ice Beam and, generally, would love the snow and cold weather.
Also, there is another little secret about the design of all the Laboratory Pokemon that I take into consideration, which may explain some things. Sadly, that is not yet to be revealed. Sorry.
Basically, types do have an effect in battle, so a Fire type will be weak against a Water type and normal attacks wont work on Ghost types and so on. However, there are more than types factoring into battles.

I see! This makes things really interesting then! But good to know some thing still work like I'm used to. And I'm totally interested in laboratory Pokémon now, hehe. Will the Halloween event go on for much longer?

Very few Halloween Pokemon are being encountered [only by those that only have one of them have chances still], though those that currently have one in their roleplay [even if they have more] will have the events play out until the Pokemon is either captured or runs away from the trainer.
On rare occasion all-year-round, however, one may still run into one of the special Pokemon, since it would be impossible for Professor Riddle and his assistants to track down every last one. In all respects, however, the event is mainly over.
