"Well...how did you change back before, then?" asked Dana. "Was it some other sort of shock, or just time running out?" If it was the latter, she hoped the time wouldn't be too long. Otherwise, they'd probably have to hole up here while waiting for Sleet to change back.
"I do wonder how many eggs are here. It seems like we've found all of them while down here. Maybe we could explore more in this area?" suggested Mumble. Dana shrugged.
"Maybe..."

"No, it... It just happens..." Sleet said, frowning as best she could. Luckily, it seemed that when she morphed, she'd taken her back pack with her, as it was now strapped on her back. At least that way, she wouldn't have to worry about it. "Well, I dunno. I think that we could go down the other tunnel, and see where it leads if you both are okay with that plan?"
Sleet didn't see any other eggs, or anything that seemed to resemble one, so she figured Dana was probably correct.

"It just happens...? That must be annoying sometimes." Sheba frowned. "Hey, Sleet, were people always able to understand you in your Pokémon-form or is that something new to Trilotics? Just wondering." She was half a human, after all, so maybe she knew human speech even in this form all along? If not, Sleet was probably really happy to be in Trilotic now. Being able to be understood made this surely less annoying.
"I don't mind where we're going to", Sheba finally said. "I'm still kind of for the tunnel with the breeze, though, just to check if it leads outside. I think finding a way out should come before more exploring. Just for safety and all that."

"Yeah, tell me about it..." Sleet said, not at all happy about this sudden change. "No, actually, when I morphed, people couldn't understand me. I actually had a trainer try to catch me once before, but, well, let's just say that got pretty ugly." she said, chuckling. That boy sure had freaked out when she'd suddenly broke his Pokeball in midair, and then, with a flick of her tail, sent an icebeam his way.
"Well, I do think we should be safe, so how about we do as Sheba suggested, and check out the breezy tunnel. And then, once we've done that, we can start exploring that third tunnel."

"Alright," said Dana. "I have to admit, I'm not very well versed in the art of navigation. Or, to put it more simply, I get lost easily in unfamiliar places."
"Hey, there's nothing wrong with that," said Mumble quietly.
"I know," agreed Dana. "And at least I have other people at my side this time...it will probably turn out well."
"You know, it's kind of odd how we haven't met any wild Pokemon on our way through this place," Mumble said all of a sudden. "I'd expect to at least find some Ice types...or maybe we've scared them away with all our noise."

Sleet laughed, and remembered what her mother used to tell her. "Hey, you and I are a bit alike Dana. My mom and I always said that we weren't in line when god was handing out a sense of direction." Smiling, she took into consideration their next move.
Of course, when Dana brought up ice Pokemon, she realized that she was right. "Well, I don't know why, but maybe it's just that they're more cautious here?

Sheba considered what the other girls had said. "Well, we did fall into the caves here from the top. I would expect that ice type Pokémon will live closer to the entrance, where it's colder. This could actually mean that we're pretty deep in the caves now and it'll be quite a walk until we reach a way out." She put on her satchel, which was quite hard with all the eggs in it now. "I suppose that only means we should try to find that entrance, or better, that exit, faster. Can we go? We wasted quite a bit of time here." She hoped Sleet would be able to travel in this form.

Dana nodded. "Yeah, I guess. It's less cold here, but I guess that's not really important when our main goal is to find the eggs and present them to that Articuno. Although we still don't know if those are the right eggs."
"Articuno will probably be able to tell," replied Mumble. "It is a legendary, after all, even if it was cloned."

It was a shame that there weren't any ice Pokemon around, since Sleet would've loved to have the opportunity to capture one or two, but Dana was right. Their main goal was to find as many eggs as possible, and then present them to Articuno. Turning around, she stopped for a second, and then started down the tunrnel they'd come from. Once she was out, she headed straight for the middle one, wanting to see something. After a few minutes of walking, her suspicions were confirmed. Though it was still another ten minutes walk, the entrance was definitely at the end of the tunnel. Her sensitive pelt was picking that up quite easily, much to her irritation. Going back to the others, she said, "Sorry for running off. But you guys were right, the middle tunnel has an exit, but it's pretty long. So I'm guessing we really are deep in the mountain."
