I have some questions which need clarification as well. Sorry to be a bother. o3o;
1) Will items like the Choice Scarf or similiar items be available (buyable etc)?
2) With the new stat caps, I suppose there is no EV training? Or do I actually have to pay attention to EVs? Are there DVs? Sorry, I'm a stat nut...
3) Will there be move tutors? If yes, will they teach the same moves like the ones in the games?
4) What about Pokémon who need special methods of evolution? (Feebas, Eevee into Leafeon etc...) Will they evolve at all here? Or like regular Pokémon, with levels? Or will the special methods be provided?
5) Will there be a breeding center?
I think that's all for now~ Thank you so much for reading.

1. On the spot, I cannot tell you which items will and will not be available. Many items will be available, either by means of buying, finding, being gifted or earning them. The stat-based items will have to be worked into the stat system, each individually, which may take some time.
2. If I knew what you meant by EV or DV training, I would answer...
3. I am debating about move tutors. I may not have anyone that is known for being a move tutor, but if you befriend the right random NPC, they may just help you out. We do have a shrine, where a user can pray for a specific move to be given to a specific Pokemon, among many other things.
4. Pokemon that still need special evolutions, such as those requiring stones, will still require stones. Those that require to be traded while holding certain items will be likely to change. It may be more like "reach a certain level while holding said item." With the Eevee into Leafon or Glaceon, I will be likely to create new areas for their Evolution, or switch them to stone-based evolution. Espeon and Umbreon are likely to evolve by Dawn Stone and Dusk Stone. Also keep in mind that Pokemon with unusual evolutions may evolve at random, such as what happens in the show. If you take your Slowpoke out fishing, there is a chance a Shellder will bite its tail, and it will evolve, regardless of level.
5. There will be a breeding center. One is already in the works. Breeding will also feature more than just what is known in the game. It wont just be one pair equals one egg that takes after the mother, or having to breed a male to ditto in hopes of getting it to take after the father.

Thanks for the reply~ Regarding 2) DVs are the genetics of the Pokémon. In each of the games, a Pokémon gets a random number between 0-31 assigned to each stat. These equal one point in the corresponding stat, which is why two Pokémon rarely have the same stats. EVs are Effort Values. Each Pokémon defeated in the games gives out between 1-3 EVs for the stat it is most known for. Four EVs equal one point in that stat and a single Pokémon can only gain 610 EVs maximum. Each of the "drugs" (Carbon etc) gives 10 to a stat up until this stat has reached 100 in EVs, after which it can only be raised by fighting. The Macho Brace doubles EV gain. If a Pokémon has maxed EVs, it can gain an Effort Ribbon. So...EVs are pretty much...the most important thing in the Pokémon games...? (BLA BLA I DO NOT SHUT UP BLA BLA) Regarding 3) or better, the shrine in general: I saw the new section there...can I just...waltz in there and ask for something? A Pokémon? An item? What exactly? I'm curious there and totally want to try it out. :3 Anyway, can't wait for all the features! This sounds all so awesome!

Regarding 2. Each Pokemon, depending on level, starts with a basic stat format. Every single Pokemon that is level five as the same amount of stat points, but they are distributed differently Pokemon to Pokemon, based on random genetics. When I create the stats of a Pokemon, say at level five, their stats all start out as: HP: 20 Attack: 5 Sp. Attack: 5 Defense: 5 Sp. Defense: 5 Speed: 5 This makes a total of 45. Then the numbers all get randomly changed. I would take one point from speed, add it to Attack, one from Defense, add it to Sp. Defense, and so on. Even so, through all the change, the total still makes 45. EVs and EV enhancing items, such as Macho Brace, are not of use here [not as it is used in game, anyway[, because every battle won, depending on the level of your Pokemon and the level of the one it defeated, there is a chance to level up. This is all gone over in this thread. The items that ARE of use, however, are the Carbon, Calcium, etc. Instead of giving the stat-up until 100, they will permanently increase the stats. If one of the items is used after that stat is maxed out, it will go over it's max. If it is used before it it maxed out, it will just add to your total toward being maxed out. At some point, there will be an ItemDex here that shall list the items found here and their use. Regarding 3. Every two weeks, you can post a new prayer. If you posted one today, you could post again 14 days later. You basically just head on over, make a thread, and boom. Nothing else is required. You can wish for all sorts of things, like items, Pokemon, asking for one your Pokemon to evolve, ask for them to level up a certain Pokemon, ask for an attack for a Pokemon, or for advice or knowledge. Basically, anything your heart desires. They may or may not grant your wish, but it's still worth it anyway. You may, however, only wish for one thing at a time. You cannot wish for more than one Pokemon or item. If you ask for levels for your Pokemon, the number of levels will be random. You get the idea.

Alright, thanks a lot, I got the stats idea now. Kinda glad I don't have to pay attention to EVs here, it's such a hassle ingame. D8 The shrine sounds awesome! I will totally check it out! It's cool how much freedom I have with the wish. Thanks for the answers!

Re-using this thread to avoid clutter.
It's probably a no-brainer, but I thought I should ask anyway: When you catch a fainted Pokémon, it has to be taken to a Pokémon Center first to be able to battle, right? Or does it mysteriously recover health after being caught? Just wondering because I couldn't find it in the "How to capture wild Pokémon" FAQ.

If the Pokemon has fully fainted, yes, it must be taken to a Pokemon Center before you may battle it, or you may use a Revive or Max Revive item, if you have it.
If you captured the Pokemon with 1 HP or greater, it will magically be healed fully and you will be able to battle it.
Regardless of rather or not it fainted, you may roleplay it, however. It just won't have the strength to battle if it fainted before capture.

You're very much welcome!
The information has now also been added to the proper "How To." Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

Just something I'm curious about: With my Bronzor (oh my god, I love my Bronzor so much!), I noticed even Pokémon genderless in the game have genders here. Will this apply to legendary Pokémon as well? I always thought it was strange for them not to have genders, so I'm intrigued now.
Also, the Pokémon granted at the shrine: Do they come from outside Trilotics, too? Or are they from the region?

Ah ha, I see that you noticed this. That being said, and only because I have been asked, yes, legendary Pokemon will have genders. All genderless Pokemon will have genders here, at least genders that they acknowledge themselves by, including Ditto.
Pokemon from the shrine may come from Trilotics or they may have been snatched up from another region. Unless it is stated in the roleplay or message in which the Pokemon is received, it is simply the user's choice on what region it came from.

Another question which is probably a no-brainer: It's okay to use items like Potions in battle, right? Not that there is some rule that they can only be used between battles like in some other Pokémon RP forums I've seen. (I have the feeling I will need to use one soon, ahaha, so I better ask. )

Yes, it is perfectly fine to use Potions and other heal items during battle. It is one of the advantages in being a trainer. xD
