One account per person.
Each user may only have one account, as each account can already hold up to four individual trainers. Creating multiple accounts is considered cheating the system and is high priority for banning instantly. However, worry not should your sibling wish to join you on Trilotics. We have our ways of telling double accounts from siblings sharing an IP address.
Site Rating.
While this site is to remain PG-13, you need to keep your posts friendly toward all ages. This means no overly excessive gore or sexual themes.
Swearing.
While we all understand that some characters may swear like sailors, it is advised to be overshadowed in a roleplay. Keep public TV ratings in mind, both in and out of roleplay. Words such as "Hell," and "Damn," are fine, but more crude words are not.
No harassment, flaming or bashing.
There is no excuse for being rude, harassing or flaming any other users. It will not be tolerated. If you're characters don't get along, leave it with your characters, not one another. Your characters are not you. If any disputes do arise between users, it may be settled civilly via private messages or an admin may be called in to settle any issues.
Be respectful, polite and courteous to all users.
This is basically "the golden rule." Do not treat others how you would not like to be treated. Be polite to everyone. Name-calling is considered harassment.
No chatspeak! Proper grammar, spelling and punctuation are needed.
While we all understand saying something like: k or g2g if you're in a hurry, please refrain from chatspeak at all times when possible, especially in roleplays. Most chatspeak makes very little sense and no one will understand what you have to say. If you "tYp3 lyk thiz," in all caps or numbers, or in any way similar, it is a nuisance to everyone. Intentionally posting chat speak will land you a warning. Also, "hi i like waffles," is not acceptable either and you will be asked to correct it if you do. Please use proper grammar, spelling and punctuation. Each user is expected to write to the best of their abilities. Our fourm comes equipped with a spellcheck, so reread your posts and make use of this lovely function.
No spamming!
Spamming varies greatly, but it is mostly considered to be posting in the incorrect areas for a topic, posting something that isn't truly relevent to a thread, posting excessive "OOC" posts in a roleplay, or just posting a bunch of nonsense.
Theft and plagiarism is not acceptable!
Stealing art, characters or stories from other users is a big "no-no." Borrowing art from other sites for any reason also requires credit to be clearly given.
In game items, money or Pokemon theft is not acceptable!
Claiming items, money or Pokemon that are not yours, rather they belong to another user or not, is considered theft and is not tolerated in any way, shape or form.
No religion, no politics.
Religion and politics can be very sensitive subject that many different people have many different views upon. Such subjects may cause unnecessary disputes, so they are not tolerated subjects in public posting. A character may discuss it loosely in roleplay, as may a member in their own journal, but it is otherwise not to be discussed.
Follow the leader/Stay on topic.
Regardless of the thread type, pay attention and follow the theme of the poster of the thread. Don't visit an auction and ask to be given something for free, don't post something about your new puppy in a thread about video games, and certainly don't take a roleplay from the beach to the forest.
Consequences.
Users will be give an official warning for each time that they break a rule, as an admin shall see fit. After three warnings, a user may be permanently banned from the site. Temporary bans may occur. However, keep in mind that some rules are judged more harshly than others, such as theft and multiple accounts. Let's just hope everything goes without the need for banning anyone~
