Sheba looked around as soon as her feet left forest ground and the first houses met her gaze left and right. As she had heard by the Zigzagoon, Ruelda seemed really small, but her old hometown hadn't been very large, either, and Sheba felt pretty comfortable.
"Well, here we are." Napey was just as interested as Sheba was, having never been to a town before, either. "Wonder in which direction the Pokémon Center is..."
"Let's ask someone if we can't find it", Pie suggested.
"Good idea." Sheba really wanted to rest her feet for a bit and finally get some healing for her little friends, so she started to look for people as well as the red roofs the Pokémon Centers she had seen so often at home. But who knew if they had the same color in this region?

"Excuse me," a voice sounded suddenly from right beside the group. There was a girl of unknown age dressed much like a witch standing before them, wearing a pleasant grin on her face with eyes shining behind her spectacles. "I couldn't help but hearing, you're looking for our Pokemon Center? You're a new trainer, aren't-cha?"

Sheba turned to the girl, blinking a bit startled as she took in the appearance of her. The girl certainly looked unusual.
"Yes, that's right!" Sheba smiled. She supposed with her Pokémon all over her, it wasn't that hard to figure out that she was a trainer and with Maevia's laboratory in the forest, most people stumbling upon this town were new trainers. "Some of my Pokémon are in need of healing indeed."
She considered asking the girl about her clothes, but then decided against it. The Zigzagoon had told her that the people believed in magic, so maybe this was the normal way to dress for them in this town. Sheba certainly didn't want to say something offending, the girl seemed nice enough.

"Ah, I see. If that hadn't been the case, I may have challenged you to a battle. Healing your Pokemon comes first though," the girl said, completely agreeing that Sheba was doing the right thing in wanting to heal her Pokemon right away. "Oh, yes! Welcome to Ruelda Town," she added quickly, almost fumbling over the words. "If you're looking for the Pokemon Center, it's up that way," she said, pointing out the direction. "There is a stream that runs through the middle of the town. You will find that there are many rope bridges, but if you cross the one right in that direction, you'll find a path that leads you right up the hill and to the Pokemon Center. Red roof, you can't miss it. Oh, and the nurse there likes to tell fortunes and she's not half bad. Might want to give it a shot, if you've got the time."

Sheba sighed inwardly with relief that the girl was understanding and not challenging her right now. She couldn't spot any Pokémon with the girl and wasn't really sure how strong her Pokémon would be.
"We'd love to battle when we come back!" Napey quickly said.
Sheba shot him a glare, but her Pokémon seemed to have other plans.
"I agree with him." "Yes, it would prove to be quite interesting. We are grateful for the help." "We will be back!" "I'm sure it would be fun."
"Haha." Well, seemed like her friends had decided the matter for her. Maybe Napey was right in calling her a chicken before... "Seems like my friends would love to battle later." She bowed. "Thank you for your help. I'll go and find the Pokémon Center then."
A nurse who also told fortunes? Well, sounded unusual alright, but well, why not?

The peculiar girl smiled in delight when all of Sheba's Pokemon agreed to battle and, ultimately, when the trainer, herself, agreed to it. It was always good to train your Pokemon against various different trainers and Pokemon. Each trainer battled with their own style, as did each Pokemon. It was a great learning experience for everyone involved.
"You're welcome! I'm looking forward to a battle with you. I ought to be right around here still, whenever you return. Best of luck to you." The girl tipped her hat just slightly, her smile very bright.

Sheba returned the smile of the girl. " Great, then we know where to find you! Come on, everyone, let's hurry." She waved once more and then started to follow the directions the girl had given her. Finding the stream through the town quickly, Sheba was tempted to actually take a drink, but decided that the health of her Pokémon was more important for now. She also found the rope bridge, which Napey loved to jump and climb on. " Come on, Napey!" Having her hands full and unable to bend down as well, Sheba had to wait for the little Pokémon to catch up. The walk up the hill was, for someone carrying three Pokémon and having almost no endurance either, pretty hard. Bronzy and Napey quickly rushed forward while Sheba stuggled to climb the hill. She was really glad when she finally reached the top and saw the red roof of the Pokémon Center. " There...huh...we are...finally..." Sheba took a deep breath. " Let's go." Glad to have finally found a place where Feary and Glammy could get healed, Sheba entered the Pokémon Center. [Leaving this thread for now and entering the Pokémon Center] ***
