Sheba sat down on the biggest rock she could find and stared at the Luxury Ball in her hand. " Well, Napey, ready to meet our granted wish?" She was terribly excited. " Sure, let it out!" Napey nodded. Sheba threw the Luxury Ball and the Bronzor from the shrine appeared, awake this time. It looked around. " Hello...?" it chimed. " Hello there!" Sheba smiled. She loved Bronzors! They were so cute! " I'm Sheba and this is Napey there. Welcome!" " Hello~" Napey said as well. " ...Sheba?" The Bronzor looked at her. " Where are we?" Sheba stared at the Bronzor. " ...Bronzy?!" " What's going on?" Napey looked from Sheba to Bronzy, confused. " That's...that's Bronzy! I cared for him at home!" Sheba jumped up and hugged the Bronzor. " Bronzy! My Bronzy!" She had a hard time suppressing the tears. Someone from home! She had been granted someone from home! She finally let go of the Pokémon. " Bronzy, we're in a region called Trilotics and from what I've heard, there's no way to go back home. And I can understand you now and talk to you!" " This is strange...I was where you had dropped all of us off and suddenly you had disappeared." " Yeah, I know." Sheba sighed. " Don't ask me how I got here, I don't know, even though it's rumored that legendary Pokémon have something to do with it. They also brought you here - at least I got you after I prayed at a shrine to them for a Bronzor." Bronzy seemed a bit overwhelmed by all the information, but then settled on what was most important for him. " So I'm your Pokémon now?" " Yeah, kinda." Sheba laughed nervously. " I had little choice, but I suppose, for my first day, I've done pretty good as a trainer. Would you like to be my Pokémon, Bronzy? I know your former trainer didn't want you anymore, but...would you try again, for me?" " Of course I would!" Bronzy chimed. " You were so nice to me! I know you wouldn't toss me away!" " I'd never! I promise I'll care for you!" Sheba laughed and spontaneously hugged the Pokémon again. " I'm so happy!" " I'm glad you found someone from home", Napey agreed. " Now be a bit happier, okay?" " Yeah, I'll try." Sheba smiled and wiped the last tears away. " Well, is everyone ready? Bronzy, we also have a Spearow with us, but she's not in a good condition right now, so let's try to find the town as quickly as possible, alright?" " Alright", Bronzy chimed. The trainer and her two Pokémon walked on. It was a short while until Napey couldn't help but ask. " Hey, Bronzy? ...She named you that, didn't she?" " Sure did", Bronzy agreed, but didn't seem particulary unhappy about it.

They walked - or floated, in Bronzy's case - in silence for a bit after that, but Sheba was feeling quite a bit more confident now. However, when she noticed that the sun was about to set, she looked around. "Looks like it's getting dark soon", she said. She didn't feel like spending the night in the forest, on the ground and, most of all, hungry. There was no food for her in the satchel Maevia had given her - most likely, most trainers reached the town pretty quickly.
"Are we lost?" Napey asked.
"We've been lost from the start", Sheba sighed. "Let's hurry up, alright? Feary can't help us, she's too weakened to fly, so we better find that town soon. I don't want to sleep here out in the open and I'm quite hungry by now."
"Let's look for some berries or fruits while we walk then", Bronzy suggested.
"Good idea." Sheba nodded. "This is a forest after all, there should be something eatable for all of us here. This path is nothing more than a joke anyway, let's go a bit deeper into the woods."
And so, they left the path and made their way through the narrow bushes.

Oh, the risks of wandering deeper into the forest. With the night setting in, it was already nearly impossible for human eyes to see under the thick branches of the trees that blocked out most of the light during the day, as it was.
It wasn't long before something took interest in the human and the two Pokemon that she had traveling with her. It could recognize the Chimchar, but the Bronzor was something that it had never run into before. How peculiar they were, the entire group, even.
With its interest peeked, the Pokemon watching them decided to follow them, for the time being. Perhaps it would find a good opportunity to present itself at a later time. That is, if it was really worth it. They had to pass judgment.

"Oof!" Sheba got hit square in the face by a low branch she didn't see. "Can you guys still see something?"
"Barely", Napey replied. "It's getting dark quickly."
Sheba suddenly stopped and the Chimchar almost ran into her. "I'm a moron!" she said. "Napey! You climbed the tree where you found Feary, right? And you had no problems! So I should have just asked you to climb a tree to the top to look for the town!"
"That's a good idea!", Bronzy agreed. "Maybe you can see the town's lights now?"
"I don't really feel like climbing a tree when I can't see anything", Napey slowly admitted.
"That's alright." Sheba started walking again. "But at least it's something we can do tomorrow to find the town then." Which didn't solve the mess they were currently in.
"I think I sense something!" Bronzy suddenly said.
Sheba and Napey stopped. "You...sense something?" Sheba asked. Well, Bronzy was a psychic Pokémon, after all.
"I think...maybe." Bronzy chimed slowly.
"Don't frighten me with some 'maybe'..." Napey mumbled.
"Now I'm scared, too..." Sheba looked around, but could, of course, see nothing. "Hello? Is there someone?" she called out.

The Pokemon following them had to stop itself from chuckling as the human ran smack-dab into a tree branch. It was quite amusing to watch, really. Its tail flicked back and forth behind it.
Finally, one of the three realized that something was there. The Pokemon sighed to itself. Show time!
The Pokemon suddenly began to cackle, sounding mysterious and even frightening. Surely, she would frighten the timid human, would she not? "It was about time that you realized that I was here. It certainly took you long enough."

Sheba jumped in surprise when she suddenly heard the cackling laughter and the voice. "I-I-I...", she stuttered. "W-who are you?!" Oh, she was scared alright!
"Hey, it's not nice to scare people!" Napey shouted into the darkness, but sounded a bit nervous as well - he wanted to protect his trainer, but how was he supposed to do that when he couldn't see? He really wished he would know a fire attack to make some light right now.
Bronzy clinked in the air. "I can only sense someone, I can't see either", he said.
"Alright, what do you want from us?" Napey finally found the courage to ask. "Why were you following us?!"
Sheba was, by now, rummaging through her satchel. Even though she couldn't fight, Feary maybe had better eyes than the rest of them. But besides Feary's Pokéball, there were five others in her satchel and she had no way of telling them apart. "W-we don't really have anything of value!", she quickly said.

The reactions of the three only made the Pokemon following them laugh again. "Oh, how silly you three can be. I am not interested in anything that you have," it spoke, the bushes rustling at the same time. A a pair of glowing, piercing yellow-green eyes appeared from within one of the bushes, staring at all three of them. "I am following you for the entertainment. To... see if you are... worthy. Forgive me if I have frightened you. It is all in good fun, you see."

Sheba found herself suddenly staring at glowing eyes. While knowing where whoever was following them was a bit reassuring, the eyes were, quite simply, not. She could hear some rustling near her, but guessed that it was only Napey and when suddenly Bronzy floated in front of her and partly blocked her view of the eyes, she realized that her friends were trying to protect her.
"A-alright then", she finally found her voice again. "W-worthy you say. O-of what, exactly? And why do we have to prove ourselves? W-we're just looking for the nearest town..." By now the night had fully settled in and Sheba couldn't make out anything anymore. Without her Pokémon, she surely would have started crying by now, but with them, she tried to remain brave like they were.

The Pokemon that belonged to the pair of eyes sighed again, this time audible to the trainer and the other two Pokemon. It seemed that the Pokemon were only interested in protecting their trainer, though it had not intentions of actually harming anyone. "If it is the town you seek, than seeing is a fortune," it finally replied. "You cannot see in the dark, can you? But I can." Just then, the figure from the bushes unveiled itself. It appeared to be a Glameow, though its colors were far off from what a Glameow would normally look like.

Sheba could barely make out the Pokémon in the darkness, but the glowing eyes helped a bit and so, she recognized it as a Glameow. She sighed in relief. Not as scary as she had thought, even though the Pokémon seemed to be of unusual colors - but that, too, was difficult to make out in the night.
Her bravery retuning a bit, she nodded. "You're right. We're lost and stuck in the darkness." She quickly added up the facts the Pokémon had told her. "But you can see...which you are telling us...why?"
Bronzy seemed to catch on what his trainer was saying. "Does that mean you'll lead us out of here if we prove ourselves worthy?"
"Sounds good if that's what you're saying", Napey agreed, happy that he could finally see with whom they were dealing - and happy that the other Pokémon wasn't all that much taller than him - and that it wasn't a spooky super-strong opponent.

The Glameow yawned as the human, the Chimchar and the Bronzor all spoke. They were wise enough to figure out what it had meant, at least the psychic Pokemon was. Psychic Pokemon were often considered wise, and this seemed to hold true, for even such a young one as that Bronzor.
"Indeed," it finally said, speaking the word with a good bit of emphasis. Its tail flicked several times. "If you can prove that you are worthy. Battling is not always my thing. I would much rather be near someone that is... entertaining." The feline Pokemon chuckled. "But battles are usually the way about this, are they not?"

"Uhm..." Sheba scratched her head. Fighting again? Oh dear! But what choice did she have? She'd love to get out of the woods as fast as possible. "Alright then, I suppose we aren't really all that entertaining now...", she admitted. "So if it's a battle you want, I think we can do that." She hoped. She could barely see enough, how was she supposed to give good orders like that?
She looked at Bronzy, who was still floating in front of her. "Bronzy, since you were able to at least sense the other Pokémon, would you battle? Napey, I know you're strong enough as well, but we're at a disadvantage because of the darkness here and I think Bronzy would be the better choice."
"That's fine with me." Napey nodded.
"With me too", Bronzy chimed, even though he seemed a bit nervous.
"So, Glameow, would you battle Bronzy so we can prove ourselves worthy then?" Sheba asked.

"The Bronzor it is then," the Glameow spoke, clearly accepting the trainer's choice in Pokemon to battle. The feline's eyes narrowed as it eyed the floating psychic Pokemon. Psychic Pokemon may have been considered power houses, but this one had the slight disadvantage of being unable to see clearly.
Wild Glameow Level 4
HP: 13 Attack: 4 Sp. Attack: 4 Defense: 4 Sp. Defense: 5 Speed: 6
Bronzy Level 4
HP: 15 Attack: 5 Sp. Attack: 4 Defense: 4 Sp. Defense: 4 Speed: 4
Attacks: Tackle - A physical attack in which the user charges and slams into the foe with its whole body. Confusion - The foe is hit by a weak telekinetic force. It may also leave the foe confused.
Wild Glameow moves first!
Sensing that the Bronzor was slower than it, the Glameow smirked and ran forward toward him. When it appeared as though it would jump at the opponent head on, it jumped to the side, running a circle around the psychic Pokemon before springing up at it. Glameow had chose to use Fake Out.
Direct hit! Bronzy lost 3 HP!
Bronzy flinched and is unable attack for one turn!

"Bronzy, use- what?!" The next thing Sheba knew was that Bronzy was almost slamming into her. "Bronzy!" What just happened?! She had seen nothing at all - which wasn't all that surprising, though.
"Ouch..." Bronzy clinked. "That hurt."
"Are you alright?!" Sheba bit her bottom lip. What a bad start!
"Yes, I think it's okay", Bronzy answered and floated up again.
"Use Confusion then!" Sheba ordered. "You have to confuse it, your disadvantage is too great otherwise!"

The Glameow was unable to dodge the psychic rays of Confusion, even it had tried, it would have been hit. It was too close to Bronzy to move away from the attack. While it didn't send the feline Pokemon backward or into a fit of confusion, it did make it wince. Too many of those and it would end up with a bad headache.
Glameow has lost 2 HP!
The Pokemon sighed, wishing that it knew a better attack than what it had. It ran forward, closing the small gap between it and the Bronzor, only it ran completely under the Pokemon and jumped at it from behind. It was another Fake Out attack.
Hit! Bronzy lost 3 HP!
