Finally, the group found something which at least resembled a path again and Sheba was happy that she didn't have to stumble over rocks and roots anymore. Napey seemed equally glad while Bronzy, unaffected by all that, had been happy the whole time.
Sheba thought about Maevia's and Sparky's words. She didn't have to stay a trainer. She could settle down as well or do something completely different with her Pokémon. Then again, it seemed wrong to cut this unique experience short somehow and settling down wasn't an option until she had tried every possible method to get home anyway.
"Hey", she asked her Pokémon, "should I find a way home, will you guys come with me? In my home, Pokémon and humans can't understand each other..."
"Well, I'll follow you everywhere. I miss home anyway", Bronzy chimed. Sheba smiled, she had expected that.
"I don't really like the thought of not being understood anymore, but yeah, why not?" Glammy seemed relaxed about the idea. "I agreed to be your Pokémon, you are worthy, so I'll follow you."
"Same here. You are an odd one, but I like you and I know you'd figure us out anyway somehow. Because you'd be simply too scared to do anything without knowing we consented", Napey mused. "And being with you is fun."
"I don't even know you guys all that well", Pie said right next to Sheba's ear, "but as long as I don't have to get back to the laboratory and can stay around, I'm fine as well."
Sheba had to blink back a few tears. Was this kind of bond, formed so quickly, the reason why so many people wanted to be trainers? "I'm really happy, my friends", she said. "I'll try to be worthy of your trust."

They walked on in silence, but it wasn't one of the heavy kind. Somewhere along the way, Pie crawled over to Sheba's other shoulder so she could better talk to Glammy. They talked a bit about the laboratory, but Sheba was too deep in thought to pay all that much attention. Her friends trusted her so much and she would have to decide sooner or later who was going to be in her main fighting force and who not.
When Sheba had the feeling that the forest slowly but surely wasn't as thick anymore, they rested along the path and ate some more apples. Sheba's feet hurt by now again, but she supposed she would just get used to the walking sooner or later. Or find a good flying Pokémon to carry her - training Feary for evolution, maybe? Was that a good reason to let the Spearow battle a lot?
She stretched her legs, enjoying the feeling of sitting down. Pie crawled from her shoulder to eat an apple and Sheba was a bit glad to put her satchel and Glammy down for a while, too. The sun had fully risen by now and it was warm outside, the forest preventing it from being too hot, though.
Sheba blinked slowly. She was tired, having not slept enough. She leaned her back against a tree. A small nap sounded good...
Her Pokémon watched her as she dozed off, whispering so she could sleep a bit. Bronzy finally settled down in her lap as well while the others stayed awake and watched their surroundings carefully, should anything unusual appear while their trainer was sleeping.

[Mysterious Ralts appearing out of nowhere. xD; I didn't feel like making a new thread for the nine posts I still need in the forest o3o; So the logic suffers.]
Sheba slept a bit more than an hour, then Bronzy's weight in her lap woke her up. She rubbed the sleep from her eyes and gently woke the psychic Pokémon as well. Bronzy chimed tiredly, but floated up again.
"Did you sleep well?" Glammy asked, having rested a bit as well.
"Yes, thank you." Her back hurt now from sleeping in a sitting position, but it was bearable and it had hurt before from all the weight anyway.
"Well, then, shall we hope that we all have slept enough now?" Glammy asked.
For a moment, Sheba was horribly confused, but then she nodded. Her second wish at the shrine...she reached for the second Luxury Ball. Hopefully, the Ralts would be awake now. Sheba threw the ball and everyone waited, interested.

[43rd post in the forest.]The air seemed to sparkle a bit, but then cleared to reveal the little Ralts, indeed wide awake now and looking at Sheba with curious eyes and a bit surprised. " ...Who are you?" " Uhm." Sheba smiled. " I'm Sheba. I'm...your new trainer." She wondered how the Ralts would react. Maevia had no trainer, maybe the Pokémon from her clan liked to live in freedom? " We got you from - most likely - a legendary Pokémon who was so kind to grant us our wish at a shrine. This is a region called Trilotics, where Pokémon and humans can understand each other. I just arrived a day ago by some unknown method, so I can't really tell you much." " Yeah, uhm, I'm Napey." Napey scratched his head. He was obviously a bit lost how to react someone who was just as small as him but, according to the voice who had given the Ralts to them, much older. " I'm Pie! Nice to meet you." Pie seemed fascinated to see another strangely-colored Pokémon. " I'm Glammy", Sheba's Glameow continued. " We also have a Spearow called Feary with us, but she is resting right now." " I'm Bronzy", Bronzy chimed from above, floating a bit closer, obviously interested in the other psychic Pokémon. The Ralts listened to them all, then nodded. " My name is Delos. Nice to meet you, too, however strange this all is."

Sheba smiled at Delos. Seemed like she had gotten around naming another Pokémon. "Believe me, it's all strange to me as well."
"I do remember someone...something taking me, but not more than that." Delos admitted.
"Like me, then", Bronzy chimed. "I came from the shrine as well, but not from your lands."
Delos nodded. "I see. Legendary Pokémon, huh?" He sighed. "Well, sounds like I'm stuck here for now, right? And with a trainer, too. Well, I clearly didn't expect this anytime soon. But you seem to be a good human."
"I, uh, try." Sheba remembered that Ralts and all evolutions of it were able to sense feelings.
"I guess we'll travel together then." Delos sat down. "This will take some time to sink in, I'm afraid. Not that I'm against having a trainer."
"You just got suddenly taken away from home", Sheba guessed. "Yeah. I think I'm still in shock, too. I appeared here in this forest and am since then trying to find the next town, Ruelda. I hope to find some help there and maybe some hint how I can get back home."
"Then we should indeed travel together. Very well then, I accept you as my trainer. May our way lead to where we want it to."
"Hopefully, it will." Sheba nodded. It was strange to deal with a Pokémon obviously much smarter and wiser than the rest of her group, but Delos seemed nice enough. "Say, do you know a Gardevoir called Maevia? The legendary Pokémon said you two were from the same clan."

Delos slowly shook his head. "Can't say I do. But I'd like to speak with her, if I can get the chance."
"We surely can contact her from the town." Sheba got up. "Shall we, then?"
Everyone nodded and Sheba packed the rest of their apples away again, glad that her satchel was a bit lighter now. Pie crawled back to her place on Sheba's shoulder.
"Delos, do you want to be carried as well? Or rest in your Pokéball?" Sheba asked, even though she didn't really know how to carry someone else.
"I'd like to stay outside and observe this region", Delos said. "My height isn't exactly helping matters, though. Would you mind carrying me? I could maybe sit on your head?[/b]"
Sheba grimaced inwardly, but nodded and helped Delos up before picking up Glammy. Well, at least she was walking straight, with her head held high now so that Delos wouldn't fall off.
"Are you alright?" Bronzy asked, concerned.
"I'll manage", Sheba nodded, slowly, so Delos would not fall. Maybe keeping all her Pokémon outside always wasn't the best method...
But determined to make her way to the rest of the forest, the now even larger group continued on.

What an awkward sight it was to see a human with so many Pokemon. Correction, seeing a human carrying so many Pokemon. With a Glameow in her arms, a Ralts on her head, and a Caterpie on her shoulders, how in Latios' name was she able to walk as she was? It just didn't make any sense, not to that observing the lot, anyway.

Sheba's progress through the woods was indeed slow. Pie seemed pretty safe on her shoulders and so was Glammy, but Delos was looking around interested the whole time, moving constantly on her head and besides a hurting neck, Sheba was also developing a headache by now.
"You look pretty funny walking like that", Napey commented.
"Oh, be quiet, you." Sheba sighed. She didn't want to snap at her Pokémon, but her good mood was suffering a bit thanks to her uncomfortable condition.
Delos, being a Ralts, picked this up at once, of course. "I apologize for the inconvenience", he said. "I can feel you are not pleased right now and I suppose I also wouldn't be in your position."
"Maybe you could give me the satchel?" Bronzy asked. "I'm sure I can carry it."
"That would be wonderful, Bronzy." Sheba put Glammy down for a second. Delos climbed down from her head as well as she was bending down to release the Glameow and settled down on her other shoulder as soon as she had put her satchel around Bronzy. "Is this alright?"
"Yes, it's fine." Bronzy floated around with his new load, obviously not all that burdened.
Sheba nodded gratefully and picked Glammy up again. Delos seemed fine on her shoulder now and Pie was pretty happy anyway. It was still a pretty heavy load and she wouldn't be able to keep this up forever, but at least it was an improvement.

The eyes of the observer never left the human and her group of Pokemon, not even for a second. It seemed that she was heading somewhere... Probably heading toward the town up ahead, if nothing else. There wasn't many other places to go anyway, was there? There was that lab out in the middle of the forest, and then the town, on the outskirts. Somewhere in between, there was a shrine, but that must not have been where they were going... Just then, the Pokemon watching them showed itself, wandering out beside them as if it belonged there, speaking quite casually. "If you're looking for the town, you're not very far," the Zigzagoon offered, flicking its tail.

Sheba had to blink twice when there was suddenly a Pokémon with them she did not know. "Oh, hello there...!" Sie smiled when she heard what the Zigzagoon said. "That's great news, thank you so much!"
"Told you I'd find it", Glammy purred and Sheba stroked his back.
Napey looked at the ZIgzagoon who was marching along next to him. "Are you from the town?" he asked. "Do you have a trainer there?" It made sense to him - maybe someone was sending his or her Pokémon out to greet new trainers who were lost.

"Hello," it responded to Sheba, smiling. It was pleased that it managed to find a trainer wandering around, as it had been on the hunt for awhile and, surely, all new trainers could use some help navigating the forest.
To Napey's question, it answered quite happily, "Yes, I come from the town. My trainer, Natalie, is there on an extended stay. She has been helping the townsfolk. You know, it is an awfully small place. They survive primarily on their own agriculture."

"A small place, huh?" Sheba sighed. "I've suddenly appeared in the forest here one day ago and was hoping to find some help in the town who could give me a hint on how to get back home."
"Sounds like the villagers need all the help they can get themselves", Glammy added.
"Yes." Sheba nodded. "Well, at any rate, I can't wait to see the town." She turned to the Zigzagoon. "Has your trainer always been living here? Or did she appear out of nowhere as well?"

It was true, the town wasn't a large place, nor was it very grand with technology, but that was because they believed in magic. For them, such a lifestyle worked and worked very well. They were known to pray often to the legendaries for things to happen, and they would. There was also a rather large selection of humans training to do magic, themselves, that came to the town. Some of them even made it their home.
"The townsfolk rely on magic over technology," the Zigzagoon replied. "Natalie is only helping in order to understand their lifestyle. It interests her," he explained. "And Natalie has been here since she was fairly young, perhaps... eight or nine, I think she said. Her mother and father are here, too, though she hasn't spoken to them in quite some time."

"Magic, huh..." Sheba pondered this. She wasn't overly interested in magic, but then again, she had just been brought to an unknown land. This sounded fairly magical to her, no matter if legendary Pokémon were really involved now or not. "Well, at any rate, it sounds like the best place to go for now anyway", she decided. "As long as the people there are friendly, I have no problem with what they believe in at all."
"So your trainer travels alone as well?" Napey asked the Zigzagoon. "Sheba here is a bit of a chicken-" "Hey!" "-and is pretty scared by everything. Maybe talking to your trainer would do her good."
Delos looked at the Zigzagoon from his place on Sheba's shoulder. "Please excuse my interruption to your talk", he said, "but does the town happen to have at least the basic amount of technology despite what the villagers believe in? I must admit, I'd like to phone and speak with this Maevia person Sheba mentioned."
"I must speak with Maevia as well", Sheba added. "At any rate, we should make the Pokémon Center our first destination. Glammy and Feary need to get healed."
"I would like that indeed." Glammy sighed. "I still feel pretty beaten up, after all."

"Oh, the townsfolk are usually pretty friendly," the raccoon Pokemon assured. The only time he noticed anyone in the town acting less than friendly was when someone who didn't agree with their beliefs tried to change everyone's mind. Obviously, no one was willing to go against what they believed and had already witnessed. He, himself, had seen at least one of the nurse's predictions come true. The townsfolk were beginning to value her opinion.
"If you mean alone as in without another trainer, then yes, she travels alone. It's usually just she, her other Pokemon, and I." The Zigzagoon smiled, though looked up at Sheba, as if evaluating her. He didn't see anything wrong with her, but he supposed that her own Pokemon would know her best.
Then the Ralts caught the Zigzagoon's attention, and he nodded his head. "Yes, they do. The Pokemon Center is small, but it is up-to-date with technology. They may believe in magic, but they have at least accepted that the center needs technology. They just don't usually have... televisions or anything in their own homes. A few do, but it varies from person-to-person."
As the Pokemon walked on with them, it suddenly lifted its nose to the air and its ears flicked. "Oh, Ruelda is just ahead, on the other side of those trees. Would you like me to come with you, or no?" He figured that Natalie was probably wondering where he was by now, since he had gone off without her knowing, but perhaps they would like to meet one another.
